Your pets are accepted for grooming under the following terms:
It must be clearly understood and agreed that whilst every care and attention is given to your pet(s) they are accepted at the owners risk. Our fist concern is the welfare of the pet, so in the event of illness or injury a vet may be called in and all costs shall be at the owners expense.
All pets should be up to date with their vaccinations
In the event of discovering your pet has fleas or ticks your permission is given to treat your pet at a cost of £3.00 (N.B. if fleas are present on your pet they will also be in your home). Further flea and tick treatment can be discussed when you collect your pet. in the event of lice being found you must collect your pet at once as lice are highly contagious. treatment from a vet must be sought before grooming can commence. The above also applies to sick animals.
Aggressive PetsAggressive pets that require muzzling or extra time to manage them will be charged at a higher rate of Standard rate + 50%. The groomer reserves the right to refuse a pet that presents a risk of injury to the groomer or itself or is a persistent barker that presents a nuisance to the other pets.
De-matting policyStandard rates do not include de-matting. There is an additional charge of £15 per hour required to de-matt your pet. It is not recommended to de-matt elderly, infirm or aggressive pets. In some cases a full body clip is required to deal with badly matted pets.
Cancellation Policy48 hours notice is required for cancellation of an appointment. Missed appointments or late notice will incur a charge of 50% of the service booked. Pets arriving late may have to re-book and a cancellation fee will apply.
